Short Bio

I received a BA in Studio Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1974. I currently work mainly in the Southwest, being based in Phoenix, AZ. I enjoy plein air painting and doing studio paintings from those studies. My work can be seen at www.gurukirnkhalsa.com

Statement

I find the experience of plein air painting and associated studio work to be an exaltation of the beauty of nature. Through my works, I hope that others will also experience this sense of wonder and work to protect the natural beauty that is all around us.
